Rupert Schäfer is producer of the DLD conference. Besides DLD he is senior project manager for digital innovation at Hubert Burda Media R&D Marketing and Communications focused on new media, internet strategy and strategic investments. He is involved in the management of the investments Sevenload, Mydeco and Glam.

Rupert studied international economics at the Munich Business School, the EBS London and the EBS Madrid. During his studies, he was running a Munich based event agency and founded a local publishing company.

For recreation, Rupert is passionate in snowboarding, golf, scuba diving and climbing.
