R.J. Friedlander is the managing director of the Internet division of Grupo Planeta, one of the largest media companies in Spain. In this position he is responsible for the development of Internet companies within the group as well as an investment fund focused on the Internet and mobile content sectors.

With more than 15 years experience in technology and Internet, he has a strong background both as operating executive and entrepreneur. He brings strategic leadership and a strong background in product development, customer acquisition and traffic monetization to early-stage start-ups. The Internet related projects he has led have generated more than 200 MM€ in revenue.
