Ph.D. in Computer Science, founder and main programmer of Menéame, professor at the University of Balearic Islands. He has participated and coordinate several Eruoepan R&D projects, he has published more than 40 papers. In 1995 he was a co-founder of Atlas Internet, a local ISP. He has directed programmed digital version of six Balearic newspapers.

He is also a Free Software developer (WP-cache, cpudyn, Menéame. etc), speaker of the Free Software Foundation and ex-president of the Balearic Islands Linux User Group. He also developed the real-time, low bandwidth radio encoding for Internet broadcast using Free Software and Vorbis+MP3 encoding for the Mallorca Public Radio.
