jose-cerdas.jpgA successful businessman born in 1966.

He founded Ei System in 1988 at the age of 22. He remained linked to the company until 1998, when it was sold to DSG International, the largest computer retail chain in the UK, which then went on to be called PC City.

After leaving Ei System (PC City), he set up a new company called PeopleCall, which has became the pioneering Voice IP operator of reference in the Spanish IP communications market. This stage overlapped with the launch and management of the aviation companies, Intercopters, Alamo Aviation and Bravo Airlines.

In January 2007, he was appointed as acens Technologies’ Managing Director after having formed part of the team of external advisors. acens Technologies is one of Spain’s main hosting and housing companies. He currently holds the same position while simultaneously providing advice to several companies in the Spanish and international markets, as well as to both public and private bodies and institutions. Among the latter, it is worth highlighting his role as Mariano Rajoy’s (leader of the main Spanish opposition party, the Partido Popular) personal advisor in Social Networks, the Internet and new technologies. His selfless support, as a Founding Governing Board Member, to the Madrid Vivo Foundation of the Archbishopric of Madrid, along with renowned businessmen like Emilio Botín, Juan Abelló and Íñigo de Oriol, among others, is also worth pointing out. Antonio María Rouco Varela, a Cardenal and the Archibishop of Madrid, is the foundation’s Honorary Chairman.

José Cerdán is also a distinguished member of the Fundación para el Análisis y los Estudios Sociales (FAES) and the Rafael del Pino Foundation.
