vpod.tv raised a $5.1m series A from Innovacom, the investment arm affiliated with FT Group Orange. Recent innovation awards for his company include Supernova 2006 in San Francisco, Innovate!Europe ’06 in Zaragoza, Global Mobile Monday Summit in Helsinki, Best Demo award at Capital-IT in Paris, RedHerring 100 Europe.

Ivan started his career in Holland for France Telecom (Orange now) architecting and deploying a world wide IP backbone. He participated at the creation of the AMS-IX, the largest public peering point world wide. He also worked in Switzerland and US for Digital services (HP now), where he was involved with a numerous of multimillion dollars outsourcing deals in the Internet and telecommunication space. Ivan started its own consulting company ICway to later merge it with a software shop and became CEO. Ivan was involved in several startups and is the co-founder and managing partner of RISC Partners, a seed-stage investment boutique.

Ivan is French, Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineer from EPITA, (Paris), settled in Madrid since 7 years.
