Facundo Garreton founded InvertirOnLine.com in 1999, with a market launch in June of 2000. Facundo is an entrepreneur who started his first company during the arrival of the internet to Argentina in 1994. He founded the first internet service provider in northern Argentina in 1994. He also worked in the Business Development sector of Ideal Logic (California, United States), and contributed to various companies during the advent of the internet in Latin America.

Today, Facundo is C.E.O. of InvertirOnLine.com Argentina, President of InvertirOnLine.com Inc, Vice-president of Invertir Online’s Brokerage House, Vice-president of IOL Trust Asset Management, and President of PrestarOnline.com.
Facundo studied Systems Analysis at the Universidad Católica in Tucumán; earned a Diploma in Business Administration at UC Berkeley (California, United States), where he specialized in the field of finance, and also he received the “Certificate in Investment Management.” Facundo also completed the Corporate Finance program in Universidad del CEMA (Argentina) and also specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions in Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (Argentina).

In the last few years, he has specialized in Banking & Financial Services, earning a postgraduate degree at Boston University (Boston, United States).

Currently, Facundo is a member of the Endeavor network as well as a member of the evaluating body of IAE, where he also works on the selection of projects for the NAVES competition. Furthermore, Facundo is an invited specialist on the Universidad de San Andrés and Universidad de Palermo Entrepreneurship Chair; he also belongs to the Secretary of Science and Technology’s Advisory Commission to the Capital Risk Forum. Additionally, Facundo is Chapter Chairman of the Young Presidents’ Organization Argentina (www.ypo.org.ar) and Member of the Regional Board.
